WELCOMING WOMEN TO BEAUTIFUL NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE
President's Message – February 2026
Brrrrr – are you staying warm and cozy? It’s been a cold and snowy month of January. Time to say Good-bye to both and Welcome in February – the month to celebrate Chocolate, Wine and ❤️.

The Trivia Night at Virgil Distillery was a blast – the members who attended had a great time!
The Great Grapes Ladies enjoyed a wonderful tour and tasting at Peller Estate Winery – especially the Ice Cellar – to indulge in a little Ice Wine.
Our groups are running well. Unfortunately, two snow days caused Mah Jong and Euchre to be canceled due to poor road conditions and safety for those driving the country roads. We know that isn’t always welcome but for everyone’s safety, it is the Convenors decision to make, and she does have to make it early in the day. We always appreciate our members understanding and supporting our Convenors.
February has 2 Programs scheduled – Valentines’ Make, Bake and Take Cookie baking on Feb 7 and The Museum talk –a history of the empowering “Women of Niagara-on-the-Lake” on Feb 18. There is room in both - sign up on our website.
We are SO excited to have 9 new members this month!!! Welcome to you all. We know you will meet so many wonderful women in Niagara-on-the-Lake and enjoy joining groups and activities.
Stay tuned – you will see a Survey come out from our Program team, looking for your input and ideas on a few topics. Please take the time to respond and give us your thoughts. That way, we can tailor events to meet the memberships interests.
Happy Valentines to Everyone – may you celebrate all that you Love – pets, children, spouses/partners and most importantly, Yourselves. ❤️
Yours in Friendship
 Megan Wood President NOTL Newcomers
The NOTL Newcomers Club is a Social Club for women who live in the Ontario municipality of Niagara-on-the-Lake, which includes Old Town, Glendale, Queenston, St. Davids and Virgil.
Membership is open to women who have recently moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) and to women residents who have undergone a major change in their lives, such as retirement, divorce, loss of a loved one or other life changes that have them wanting to become more involved in local life.
Our goal is to welcome women and to help them meet one another and discover everything our unique town and region has to offer residents.
We are a social club – we encourage our members to join a new interest group, participate in a new activity, or come to Coffee and Conversation and meet some new friends.
