WHO CAN JOIN NOTL NEWCOMERS?
Membership applications are welcome from:
- Women who have recently moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Glendale, Queenston, St. David's and Virgil.
- Women living in these communities who have recently experienced a significant change in their life, such as retirement, divorce, bereavement or other.
WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP COST?
Membership Fee for 2025-2026 is $35
Membership dues are for the year July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026. Yearly fees cover ongoing club expenses such as such as meeting honorariums, room rentals, insurance, website, and dues to the National Association.
Other costs:
Some events and programs are free, and some have a fee associated with the actual cost of the event. Examples of costs include entry fee to a local attraction, or the price of the meal at an event. All prices are advertised in the Newsletter and Website in advance.
Please note: We ask that all members be 'Scent Free' and refrain from wearing scented products when attending NOTL Newcomers Events. People with a sensitivity to scents can experience severe reactions to these products. Please help everyone enjoy a safe experience at NOTL Newcomers.

Please note this a bylaw in NOTL - all town facilities are to be Scent Free. And you may be asked to leave if you wear scented products.

- IN PERSON
Print out Membership Form, complete it, and bring it with a cheque or cash to a Newcomer Coffee morning or monthly event. Further questions, contact Membership, membership.notlnewcomers@gmail.com
Once your Membership application has been processed and payment received, you will receive an email with your Membership ID number and access to the MEMBERS ONLY section of the website.
Also please add info@notlnewcomers.com to your email contact list. This will allow our electronic Newsletter to arrive directly in your mailbox instead of being routed into 'junk/spam/promotions'.
When joining the NOTL Newcomers Club you confirm your agreement to the following waiver:
I hereby grant the Niagara-on-the-Lake Newcomers Club permission to use any photos or video footage which I may be part of from their events for publication, promotion, illustration, advertising or trade.
I hereby grant the Niagara-on-the-Lake Newcomers Club permission to publish my name, address, phone number and email address in the Annual Membership Directory. This Directory will NOT be shared with any person other than Niagara-on-the-Lake Newcomers members and will NOT be used for any commercial or sales purposes. Further, I agree NOT to share this information outside the Niagara-on-the-Lake Newcomers Club.
I acknowledge that the Niagara-on-the-Lake Newcomers Club, its Executive Board, Officers, Chairperson(s) of Standing Committees and Special Interest Group Conveners or others assisting in the operation of the Club shall not be liable for any injury, death or for loss, stolen items or damage to the property of the renewing member in any manner as which occurred during the undersigned participation in its organized activities from this day forward.
